Hello and welcome to Greenmount Primary School.
I’m so proud to lead a school filled with happy, enthusiastic learners and a team of staff who go above and beyond every day. Our aim is simple — to make sure every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to do their best. Children are truly at the heart of everything we do.
We are a vibrant school for children aged 2 to 11 years, with our nursery incorporated into the main school to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care as children move through each stage of their learning. From their very first days in nursery to their final year with us, every child is known, nurtured, and encouraged to flourish.
Located just a short distance from the busy town centre and beautiful local beach, our school is nestled within a residential area, close to where many of our children live. This gives us a wonderful sense of community — we’re proud to be a school right at the heart of our neighbourhood.
We’re also proud to have an on-site resourced provision which supports children with a primary need of Autism. Spaces within this provision are allocated by the Local Authority, and it plays an important role in helping us create an inclusive and understanding environment where every child can thrive.
We believe that learning should be exciting, challenging, and fun. Whether it’s in the classroom, outdoors, on the sports field, or during one of our many enrichment activities, our children are encouraged to explore their talents, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Thank you for visiting our website. I hope it gives you a sense of the warmth, ambition, and community spirit that make Greenmount such a special place to learn and grow.
With best wishes,
Mrs Rebecca Day
