On 1st October 2024, following a consultation process with parents, staff, the local community and with the support of the Isle of Wight Council, Greenmount Primary School and Gatten & Lake Primary School became The Federation of Greenmount and Gatten & Lake Primary Schools. The federation works together under a single Governing Body with one Head Teacher.

We strive to ensure that the unique character and strength of each school is recognised and celebrated. It is important to us that every child we educate identifies with the special qualities of their school and is proud to be a part of it.

Collaboration is at the very heart of the federation, with the schools working closely together to develop the very best environment to provide a first class education and wider opportunities for our children.
